Another one bites the dust!

haHa! Dude that was causing all the drama for me at work got wind he was going to be fired, so he headed the boss off at the pass and quit instead. Quit by email! And I quote:
(ahem)
"I've never worked in an enviroment where "he-say-she-say" was so much the norm. I've never worked for an employer that believes in accussations(sic) rather than fact finding and getting to the bottom of the situation.......I'm a class-act as a gentleman and as a human being.....I've never taken any money from the hotel nor have I given anything away for free."
Well now!
He certainly went along with the hesay shesay b.s. when he wrote this, because the boss said nothing to him, he just went on what other people told him. Also he came in late last week and I was stuck at work for an extra two hours because "he was riding around with this dude that he's going to pledge into a fraternity with, the car was struck by TWO deer, wrecked the car to the point where they couldn't drive it, and of course had to walk FOUR MILES where there's no cell phone service. IN Kalamazoo. So when he brought that dude into work with him so he can use the boss's computer, I asked him "how's your car?". "Fine. How's your car?". UH-HUH.
As a class act, he didn't do any of the duties that everyone else does, laundry, taking out trash. He sat in the lobby and talked on his cell phone. As far as not stealing anything, $127 came up missing on his shift, he gave away a room to one of his friends and tried sneaking a housekeeper to clean it when the boss went out. Also he let some friends stay for three weeks, not a penny was seen from that. So as far as not giving anything away, this guy is certainly full of himself and feces.
I'm glad to see him go, god forbid you walk in with any dinner for yourself, he'd just help himself to it.

Nobody is safe from being fired from this boss, I realize that. I personally think he's going to get rid of everybody within the next six months so he don't have to pay anybody unemployment and get his own family in there to work for free or piss-poor wages.

I'm probably next, but I'm not giving anybody any reasons to!

Regardless, I'm glad we're rid of the jackass.

breakin' out the wool

It's cold as hell here, and I got my wool-blend socks and wool sweater on. I hate wool. That's how cold it is here. Get wool in my personal space and my skin begins to crawl.

I haven't wrote much because it would go like this: bitch bitch my back hurts, I don't sleep much, dog been whining all the freaking time and I find myself putting my hands around his neck to strangle him, etc. etc.

Dog's insulin is balanced so he don't whine all the time now. I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I bought him a little Irish/fisherman's sweater, and he's sooo freaking cute. He looks like a little packed sausage in it.

Husband and I picked out stuff on Amazon and that's how we did our Christmas shopping for each other. I just went and ordered it all together to save on the shipping. I bought some soldering stuff and now I just got to create when I got a day off. I got tomorrow off.

Outside lights are up and I still got outside to look at them. Christmas tree might go up Friday or whenever the heck my next day off is. We got cheap ornaments for the bottom of the tree because the cat messes with those. Little bastard.

Tomorrow I go to the doctor to get more Happy Pills. Hopefully they'll give em for free, I've been using samples from them this whole time. Boy they sure make a difference. I see the humor in stuff a lot more now. I'm not as easily pissed off. Kids screaming in the store used to really piss me off. Now I just laugh because the kid ain't mine.

Nothing much else new here. Husband is making ribs tomorrow, so that's something to look forward to. One of the Canadian contractors stopped by on his way through Michigan at work. That was really nice to see him. He was one of the polite big ol' galoots. He had questions about his bill since the guys that stayed back while he went to another job charged stuff on his credit card. Hopefully I'll see them again next year.

Pictures of Christmas lights and the dog in his sweater to come!
