Today's training

I had to drive to the Kalamazoo location for training. Holy crap, that's all I got to say. It's so technical and so much to remember for each model of phone. The morning was slow and I got to tear apart old phones and put them back together. The computer entry of all the work looks hard too. Then business picked up after lunch and I got to watch as phones were repaired as their owners waited. Got to see quite a few "this don't happen very often" moments, and a sales dude have a hissy fit. I had lunch at Panera Bread. We are supposed to get one in St. Joe and I wanted to see if we were missing anything. Yes we are.

We are having some hot 90 degree days, and I thought I would take Little Dog's bandage off. Almost got my face tore off. On the under side of his leg they shaved it very close to the skin, then they covered the wound with gauze and wrapped it up with stretchy sticky tape. It was pulling his skin off. I got the whole thing off except that mean part, and I tried oiling it down with baby oil, then in a brave moment I ripped it off like a band-aid. He didn't even flinch. I was sweating. I can't imagine taking the staples out. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that before. The vet said I can pick up a staple-remover from them and do it myself if it's less stressful for the dog. If I do end up going that route, I'm going to borrow their muzzle also.

Mom made an appointment to take the dog to the vet so they can take them out. Mom will have to hold his muzzled head, but I think it will work that way. With my schedule now, there's now way I can take him during normal people hours. They never offered dopey pills, I think it's all-out sedation or nothing.
