DING DONG! THE WITCH IS GONE!

Everyone! It's time to Celebrate!
They fired the manager yesterday!
WOOOHOOOO!!!
She called in sick AGAIN, but is her check ready?
They told her like she told many people, ya know, it's slowing down here, and they just don't need her anymore. What they mean is they don't need her collecting a salary for nothing.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO EVERYONE!

Tonight, me and my trusty Chihuahua Sparrow will go flying around on my magic gas dryer in celebration of the Autumnal Equinox. (His name is Sparrow and mine in Jenaynay the Happy Witch!).

Happy early birthday to me!

No more flattery

Two nights ago one of the contractors bought me dinner from the chicken place next door. The same night another regular brought me a shake from Dairy Queen. Last night was the last day for the contractors, they went out to celebrate and brought me back a steak and baked potato. Now today they are gone. Things won't be the same. Before I knew if I ever needed help or I was in trouble I could call
any one of those dudes. Now it's just another job with creepy people coming and
going.

I had a second interview, and it went very well. Then Human Resources called me to let me know the lady I interviewed with was very happy with the interviews, but they filled the job internally. Crap.

Leaves are falling here like crazy, the grass is covered. More light is coming into the house. Things are not so bad here. Regardless that I'm still at this crappy job with no end in sight, somehow things are really starting to look up.

eek

The new owner was at work when I got there this morning. Ends up he came in special to fire the night girl. I was a little on edge after that, forgetting my happy pills this morning. Then later in the day the manager who everyone hates got in a screaming match with another girl. Manager is threatening to not come back if owner don't fire the other girl. He won't, he likes her. Other than that, nothing much else new. I kind of like working second shift because that when my favorite bunch of mulletheads come out. One asked to take my picture, I told him no, I was flattered, but it would take away my spirit. I didn't want to end up on God Knows What web page. Another tells me I got a nice ass while I'm talking on the phone with customers. I take all the flattery I can get. They are only supposed to be around for another couple of weeks, then after that I will miss them.

me likey the dsl

Took the plunge, got DSL, so far I like it.
Antivirus took 2 minutes to download, instead of 2 hours.
I don't have much more to say on that subject.

I'm back on drugs again, my ass broke out again. I'm getting sick of this. Then the doctor wanted me to talk to someone about the stress I'm having, which, honestly is mostly gone. Things are better, but I thought hey, he's gonna send a shrink or a counselor into the room. But no! He sends an elderly lady in to tell me about Jesus and I'm welcome to their church. Sigh. This made me feel like crap. Not only is she inviting me to her church, but I'm reminded of my restricted license that won't let me drive all the way to Bridgman to church. I understand the doctor's intentions, but I left feeling worse.

Anyway now I'm going to post a bunch of pictures because I can. Maybe you've seen some before, but that's okay.

Oh yeah, I had a job interview today and it went really well. Hope the background check only uncovers things like I've not been convicted of a felony and whatnot.

the meds are working

Too good. The last day of my antibiotics, I broke out in hives, and they are taking their sweet time going away. I lay on the floor and wrangle around like a dog because it feels so gooood. Anyway as for my new prescription, I'm not hopeless and weepy all the time. I'm more up to a level of just "eh" which is fine with me. I don't remember being anymore than "eh" anyway.

I've decided to take the plunge and get DSL. I'm waiting to get my stuff in the mail to hook it up. I've wasted too much time with this dial-up crap.

Work has new owners. Interesting. They are there all the time, which is good. They observe and fix, which is great. They are not afraid of firing anybody, unlike the last management company, who just took people off the schedule. I'm just not used to anybody breathing down my neck! Oh well, I've applied to a few different places and there have been no offers. I'll stick it out through November, at least I'll get the days off I've asked for. I got my priorities.
